Our history

Welcome to us

The history of the Pätschow estate has been linked to the Hecker family for over 100 years

The Hecker family

Wilhelm Hecker bought Gut Pätschow in 1907 and a few years later the neighboring Groß Polzin. Wilhelm Hecker's family had built a very successful sugar factory in Gröningen (Saxony-Anhalt).

The synergies from agricultural primary production and processing have been put to good use for decades. In Vorpommern business prosperedl. The performance in animal husbandry was above average. The focus was always on the social aspect, which is why the family was warmly welcomed back to Pätschow after the fall of the Wall. Today the 5th generation is growing up on Pätschow. The passion for the soil, the people and the cultivated crops of the current generation is the same as forWilhelm Hecker who lived here over 100 years ago.

Due to the changes in the consumption of food and the increased environmental demands of the consumer, we decided to build a peeling mill a few years ago. In the beginning we only wanted to use the mill for dinkel-related services for other farmers and our own use. Today we not only peel dinkel, but also legumes.

Every day we work persistently and with great passion with a great team to produce better products than yesterday.
